We've opened our first ever Dune London store in New York City: introducing our fabulous inverted catwalk ceiling concept and AW14 ladies, men's and accessories collections to all our Stateside customers.
Until then, we're getting to know the local stomping ground.
We're so happy to be opening up on the Lower East Side amongst great neighbours including a selection of independent boutiques.
We especially love Assembly New York, Reformation and Saturdays Surf NYC for men. For cheap eats, scrumptious dumpling houses, and a newly revived nightlife including Le Baron on Mulberry Street, we're heading round the corner to Chinatown.
The new store is right by Spring Street station, and in really close proximity to China Town.
One of the best patches in town, it's a key shopping area that's also really close to Bloomingdales. Next door is soon to be a brand spanking new Michael Kors store, and if you head west, you'll find the super-premium district.
So food is probably our second most favourite thing (after shoes of course).
We know our Dune London customers could happily fill their tummies at any of the below venues. We'll start with brunch at DBGB Kitchen and bar followed by a freshly brewed coffee at The Smile, followed by feasting at the original NYC outpost of Balthazaar's, or picking up lunch on the go from Dean & Deluca, and enjoying American pancakes at Clinton Street Baking Company.
Heading down to Rivington Street you can sample cookies and ice cream at Milk Bar, Mexican food at Tacombi at Fonda Nolita, giant Rueben sandwiches at Katz's Deli and smoked salmon bagels from Russ & Daughters. Top this all off with great cocktails from the Sandton Street Social and that's a New York feast like none other!
