To mark World Mental Health Day, we are proud to unveil our charity collection with 100% of the profits supporting our charity partner YoungMinds. A UK-based charity, YoungMinds works tirelessly to better the mental health and wellbeing of young people across the country.
Our charity collection includes form-fitting and machine-washable face masks as well as a colourful canvas tote bag.
Ahead of World Mental Health Day, we touched base with some of our team to find out what they do to manage their mental health and wellbeing during times of stress. Scroll on to read their answers.
Tal, Senior Merchandiser
“I like to do five-to-ten minutes of yoga breathing every day to stay calm and I spend time with my children in the evening. Working and living remotely can sometimes leave you yearning for social interaction, so it’s good to check in with colleagues and loved ones, too.”
Maddie, Design Intern
“Something as simple as going for a walk around local green spots (mine’s Clissold Park) or cooking with flatmates helps me to unwind at the end of the day. If you’re having a hard time it’s important to reach out and talk to someone – even when you don’t want to. For me, it’s with my friends or my mum.”
Amine, Allocator
“It’s important to focus on the small things in life which make you happy. For me, that’s a cup of tea, a long walk or a conversation with a friend. I also cycle to and from work – it helps to clear my mind.”
