Button Detail Leather Knee High Boots

Lovely boots, will always get compliments whenever I wear them. Bought them in black 6 years ago, just had to repurchase as they are just starting to look old. Bought a tan pair two years ago. Warning must use shoe protector as I wore my tans ones in the rain and they weren't water protected. BUT highly recommend these boots

I have cosetted these boots for a year as I don't usually spend this much, but I am so happy that I treated myself.
I have quite slender legs and they were quite snug to zip up but they soon fitted perfectly.

Love these boots! These are my second pair in black. I am petite and find it almost impossible to get long boots that fit my calves. These are so lovely and slim fitting and the most comfortable boots I have ever bought.

Best boots ever. Usualy I wear 4,5 but I ordered num. 5. Comfortable and just fine for narrow feet.

Over the past 10 years I have purchase these boots it black, oxblood and tan, I. Always have a fair to hand they are comfortable, extremely stylish and well worth the price, I have had endless comments from people when I’m wearing them on how nice they look.

bought these for my daughter for Christmas. Lovely and soft leather, styles with most dresses and skirts she has with the vintage look with the buttons which she loves. The highlight of her presents, she loves them. (I might steel them, I love them too!)
Thought she may have difficulty getting them on as she has a wider foot, but they were not too tight and a nice fit.

I have the tan ones and I have to say I love them especially with only having slim legs they are perfect

It's so nice to finally find a pair of knee high boots that fit my skinny calves without looking rediculous! I love them.

I have narrow feet and ankles and slim calves and these fit perfectly, and don't look like wellies as boots usually do. I take 4.5 - 5 and the size 5 is just right. I love the styling and as the fit is so good will be purchasing the tan as well (don't really need another tan pair but can't resist!) well done Dune!

I bought my first pair of these boots in 2009, and absolutely loved them. I've worn them almost every day of every winter since, and understandably, they are now a little worse for wear, and sadly are no longer waterproof. I was delighted that they are still available, so I have bought another pair. Ten years on, and they are still as stylish and comfortable as ever. The brogue detailing on the toes is new (and superfluous, in my opinion), but doesn't detract from how great these boots are. I foresee another ten years of constant wear. Hopefully they'll still be available in 2029 so that I can replace them again!

I am male with small ankles and slim calves generally. It is very hard to find boots which fit so well. The sole is light so they feel very comfortable when walking.

Perfect Boots

I first saw these boots a couple of years but for some reason, never tried them on.

I have really slim legs and I struggle to find boots which don't look like wellies on me. These fit perfectly around my calves, still slightly big around my ankle but they haven't slouched. I should also add, my feet are quite wide but they don't feel squashed in them.

My only negative, why did I wait so long to try them on!!

Fell in love with them as soon as I saw them, perfect fit and so comfy. I have walked all around New York in them on my holiday and felt like I was wearing my favourite pair of slippers also had so many compliments on them. So stylish.

What can I say, they look stunning and feel very comfortable.
The fit is snug, in some size 7 boots my foot moves around but not in these. The boot is also snug around my calf with no flapping around although if you have big calves, that could be a problem.
They also make my feet look slight and slim rather than big and wide.
I love them.

I was in Dune today (10th December) with my husband buying boots for my birthday. I had checked the boots out online and had seen a few pairs I liked. On visiting the shop, it wasn't too busy despite being a Sunday in December! We had no problems being served and staff were very friendly and helpful. I tried the boots on in size 7 but they were a bit neat so I tried them on in size 8 and they were very comfortable. So pleased with them :-) Not only was the girl serving me very nice but also the person who brought them over and she engaged me in conversation too. Really gorgeous boots, plus there was 20% off as well plus the great staff means I will definitely visit here again. Thank you!

Stylish, classy, elegant, sophisticated - just a few compliments I’ve received when wearing these boots. Not only are they all at the above but so comfy too. Great for dressing up or down and perfect for a winter shopping trip.
After trying them on I knew they were the boots for me - so much so that I purchased the Burgundy ones aswell.

The season of mists and mellow fruitfulness is when I buy a new pair of these premier boots for my wife, brown last year and Black this year and she wears them constantly. Superb quality, Superb style and they go with jeans or more formal wear. Excellent purchase and worth every penny. Great service and simple purchase at the Bath Store.

Great fit it's so difficult to get a nice long boot to fit nicely round the calf .
Leather is soft and lush

At last a pair of boots that fit me! It seems all other brands in a Size 7 are made very wide in the calf, but these are so snug and comfortable. Very good quality. I am seriously thinking of treating myself to a black pair too.

I have both colours of these boots,a pair for every outfit!
Lovely soft leather,very smart. Have to agree a little narrow on the calf's but I first wear them with flight sock,to stretch them.I then take them to local shoe repair & he puts a 2" elasticated piece in where there is already elastic,& they fit snug and look fabulous.Love,love love these boots.

Purchased these boots after looking for new ones over the winter.
They are tight over the calf area and difficult to do up but that said once on they are so comfortable and do not feel tight at all.
Lovely soft leather but with a sturdy and well supported foot area.

This is a highly detailed, comfortable yet practical boot. It is tight on the calves as other reviewers have said- women's calves vary hugely depending on many things, not just foot size! The boot is also narrow in the foot, and is quite long for a 6, but assuming that is the style.

Worn with a dress so far for a Christmas party and sure they'll look just as good with jeans during the day

I struggled for ages to find boots that fit small my slim legs but have big feet so normally all boots are like wellies on me. These are amazing and fit just right, plus the detail on the front of the boot with the buttons makes them look unique to any other boots. Just wish I had the money to buy the brown aswell - might be going on my xmas list - expensive but well worth it as an investment :-)

Have been looking for a decent pair of boots for about 3yrs. These fit beautifully: neat on the ankle and calf (I have slim calves and most boots are like wellies on me), with a nice amount of room across the bridge of the foot. I was so thrilled with them, I bought two pairs -black and tan!!

Great quality leather..soft and supple. Wonderful styling and they look great on! They define the leg shape really well. Bought as a gift and the recipient loves them!

Perfect fit, have read other reviews stating too tight on calf, did not find this at all. Second pair I have bought and now my niece in Canada has asked me to get a pair for her,(she is coming home for Christmas,) and does not want to risk them being sold out. Completely different from other brown boots you can buy, and a great alternative to my boring black boots! As other reviewers note, they are quite narrow, I normally find it difficult to buy boots narrow enough for my calves and even these are quite tight on the ankles. Love them though

I fell in love with these the moment I saw them. I'd been looking for a pair of flat, black knee highs to replace a beloved pair that had shuffled off the mortal coil for TWO YEARS, when I finally found these. I have very narrow feet and very slim calves, so most boots look like wellies on me. Imagine my delight at how slender and flattering these look on! Not only that, but the brogue and button detailing make them look unique to other boots on offer elsewhere. Even my husband liked them: that's got to be a plus. They are pricy considering they do not have a leather sock, but they are worth the money for the fit and styling.....now, who'd like to crowdfund me for the brown pair? :-)

I have quite slim legs and these boots are a great fit, both around my calves as well as my ankles. No gaps or saggy leather. I also have slim feet and they fit a treat, if you have slightly wider feet these would be too tight for sure.

Only worn them twice so far, but have received great comments from my work colleagues.

These have just arrived and I am completely delighted. They look great in the photos, but far outshine this in real life. Highly polished toes, great fit at the ankles with beautiful button detail. Only down side it at just over 5 foot they come a little bit closer to the knee than I would have wished, but that's the fault of my legs, not the boot! If they weren't so expensive I'd have a black pair too!

Love these boots, cross between Victorian and boho styles. I bought the Tan colour but really would like to have the black as well. They go with everything, even shorts and tights...

I have these in black and i got them via Dune's sole searcher. I am thrilled they could get them for me. I have slim legs and ankles but like a little bit of extra width across the widest part of my foot otherwise i end up with a corn on one of my little toes! I spotted these boots on someone else and asked where they got them. I would have loved them in tan brown too but sadly sold out now! Brilliant style. I am hoping Dune will repeat the style next autumn in maybe grey or navy! Thank you Dune for your sole searcher.

Honestly, THE best, most comfortable, perfectly fitting knee high boots I have ever owned. I have fairly slim calves and normally struggle with knee high boots and usually look like I have my foot in a bucket, but not so with these beauties! No 'wearing in' period - prefect from the first moment. I adore them and will now order in brown. One happy lady.

I adore these boots..I have found comfortability and style rarely work together but in this case Dune have created the magic formula and produced a classy boot that are a joy to wear. I am currently on my second pair and have yet to tire of people stopping me in the street to comment on them and inquire as to where I bought them! The icing on the cake for me is having had to recently contact Dune customer services I found the experience nothing short of excellent and the staff an absolute pleasure to deal with...if only all companies were as friendly, efficient and conscientious as Dune (and made boots as beautiful as these!) the world of shopping would be a happier and less stressful place!

These boots are fabulous, fit perfectly, very comfortable , no having to "wear them in" look smart with any outfit. I had previously purchased a pair in black, fell in love with them so much. I just had to buy a pair in brown also. The best boots I have ever had....

I loved those boots when made by Bertie, now I got them in brown and they are just lovely...

I bought these after having had my last pair for three years, which I loved. When they arrived, I was surprised because the material is not the same. It is more mottled and less glossy. It looks like it will crease more easily. I was slightly disappointed given the price. Still smart boots and hoping they’ll last as long as the last pair.

Had to send them back as they are not designed for anyone over a size 12, couldn't do the zip up past my calf's

These boots are beautiful but I had to return them as I couldn't get the zip up, even though my calves are not very big. Some of the reviews say the same thing. I take size 4 and tried size 5 however, I still had the same problem. I tried on several pairs but they were all the same.
The sales assistants at Brent Cross Dune were extremely helpful. Would be great if they were made for bigger calves as well.

I simply loved the style and detail but my word are they slim. I am a 5 and had to go to a 7 to get the calf to zip up and I don't have large calf muscles. Such a shame as I haven't found others like them.

I really loved the design and indeed were comfortable but unfortunately to my surprise did not last very long. I had them for 4 months and I admit that i was wearing them quite a lot but one of the pair is ripped off from the sole and although i took them for repair nothing could be done. So sad :( i honestly thought they would last longer.

The boots are beautifully and well made and fitted my foot very comfortably.
I could not zip the boot more than half way up as they were too narrow to fit around my calves. I am very disappointed.

Bought these boots online however had to return them straight away as they don't fit on the top of my calf. Really disappointed as i love the style.

The boots arrived very swiftly and the tracking service was very good. However, I am very disappointed with the quality of the boots as well as the shade of the tan colour that looks very different on site. The colour is very dull and old fashioned, very unattractive. I expected more cognac like, vibrant tan colour. Next, one boot had the pattern embossed off centre and had lots of little spots, I.e. the leather was a bit damaged. Then, the actual leather was very bad quality, very thin and flimsy so I would expect it to deteriorate very quickly.
The only reason why I am giving it 2 stars is because they are very comfortable. The idea of the design is excellent but very bad execution. For the money I paid, I didn't expect to receive a faulty boot and I didn't expect such bad quality. Also, the box was torn! I am a very disappointed customer.

I bought these boots several years ago and they were amazing - attractive, robust and well fitting. I replaced them recently and the supplier must have changed as the quality is much worse. For the price, I would definitely not recommend them.

Beautiful boots but infuriatingly narrow on the calf. I'm a size 12 and wear a size 5 shoe, the zip was impossible, could only fasten it 3/4 of the way up. Really disappointed that these boots have been designed for a very small margin of women.

Come on Dune, what’s happened to the fit of this beautiful boot. 1st time I bought this boot in brown and black was 3 year ago. Marvellous fit snug around the calf and enough room around the ankle. Since then the fit around the ankle has got meaner and meaner. My last boots which I paid full price for the zip burst in less than a year. Not good enough. And my ankles are skinny!! looks like I m going to have to change my favourite boot for something that lasts longer and fits without stopping the blood or bursting the zip. Gutted....

lovely looking boots.... 1st pair bought in December after 2 weeks I had to return as strap across foot snapped and button dropped off ... received replacement and after 6 weeks buttons are dropping off and leather on buttons peeling off ... not good quality for the price paid
