Chandni Dabasia
HR Coordinator

I began working at The Dune Group in 2011 as a HR Intern. I was extremely keen to get into HR but only had six months experience and I knew I needed to gain an internship to have a better chance of succeeding towards my goal. As HR was my passion, I went back to university to complete my Masters in Human Resources Management. Towards the end of my course, I was given the opportunity to return to The Dune Group to do another HR internship for research on my dissertation.

After completing my Masters, a HR Administrator positon was vacant. I applied for it and was successful in gaining the role in November 2013. In my time, I provided comprehensive HR administration and supported the HR team. I work closely with the HR team and in particular the HR Intern to ensure a high quality HR service is delivered to all areas of the business.

In November 2015, I got promoted to a HR Coordinator which I was extremely happy about as it was a massive achievement for me. Within my role, I took on extra responsibilities such as coordinating monthly stat reports, collating audit information from CSO and retail, ensuring a high quality HR service relating to all areas of the employee life cycle is delivered and many more. In addition, I recruit interns for the HR, Ecommerce, Buying, Marketing and Design department. I absolutely love my job and people I work with as I always have so much fun and learn something new every day!
Becky Ewen
Store Manager

My love for Dune started when I was 14, buying my first ever pair of Dune shoes from the Leeds store after saving up Birthday and Christmas money. 2 years later I landed my first job with Dune and was absolutely ecstatic. 11 years later and along side completing my Business Management degree, I have worked my way up through the steps of Management, to most recently taking over the Flagship store as Store Manager in Glasgow. I have been lucky enough to work in 5 amazing Stores and Concessions, across different cities in the North of England and now Scotland.

I had always envisaged myself going into business, however never thought that starting as a Christmas Temp on a crazily busy Saturday afternoon in Newcastle would have been the stepping stone into my progression. I have had the pleasure of working alongside some of the most passionate, inspiring and dedicated Teams, who have all enabled myself to achieve the proud moments of my career. I have had some outstanding Managers who have given me the support and drive to be the best that I possibly can be. When people ask why do you love Dune so much (it is a running joke within my group of friends that I am like a fixture and fitting at Dune) I have 3 answers; the People, the Product and the Progression. All of which only seem to be getting better!
Emily Dodd
Entry Level Assistant Merchandiser

I started working at the Dune Group in 2012 as an Allocator. I initially started working on the Men's team for just over a year before I moved on to Dune Accessories & Dune Black ladies.

Four months later I progressed to Trainee Assistant Merchandiser and stayed on Dune Accessories and advanced even further. Because I work on a small team I get a lot of one on one training with my Merchandiser, who is fantastic. I also get to work on my own management skills, training an Allocator and managing their workload. With hard work and training I was promoted again 6 months later to Entry Level AM.

Working hard and raising my profile across different departments in the business is very important to me, and an aspect I felt I needed to grow even further. By doing so I was given the responsibility of being part of the pricing team, managing in store pricing promotions and events. In my role as pricing super user I have the opportunity to work with all different levels of the business; IT, retail and with senior directors.

I thoroughly enjoy working at Dune, I am proud to work for an amazing company and I really do love my job! I look forward to what lies ahead!
