How to Measure Your Foot Width

Follow these steps to accurately measure the width of your foot:

  1. Stand with your feet flat on the floor, slightly apart.
  2. Wrap a tape measure under and around the widest part of your bare foot.
  3. If standing is difficult, sit on a chair and wrap the tape measure around the widest part of your bare foot. Then stand up to get the most accurate measurement.
  4. Read the width measurement (in millimetres) where the tape measure overlaps.
  5. Use this measurement to determine your correct shoe width using the Dune Size Guide.

How to Measure Your Calf Width

Follow these steps to measure your calves correctly for boots:

  1. Sit on a chair with your leg bare, your knee bent, and your foot flat on the floor in a relaxed position.
  2. Locate the widest point of your calf and gently wrap a tape measure around it—ensure it’s snug but not tight.
  3. Record the measurement in millimetres.
  4. Use this measurement to find the best-fitting boot using the Dune Size Guide.

Wide Fit

Dune London's Wide Fit range has extra width around the back of the heel and across the top of the shoe where your foot naturally bends, providing additional room for customers requiring a wider fitting shoe.

Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel (in cm) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel.

Measuring Boot Height

We measure our boot heights (in cm) from back of the boot, from the top of the heel all the way up.
